Ivrim, the people who pass over: what being Jewish can help us understand about gender and transgender identities.

We will start with a presentation by Joy Ladin, on what her experiences and her students have taught her about how being Jewish teaches us to understand our own and others’ gender identities and stories of becoming. After an all-sincere-questions welcome Q&A, Joy will then use this framework to guide us through a respectful sharing and listening session. Join us for this intimate conversation and create space where we can think together about how gender is changing.
